Poet Gary Geddes will be returning to Sechelt for a poetry reading on February 7th, 2009. The poetry reading will be held at the Sunshine Coast Centre located in Sechelt. The Sunshine Coast Arts Centre is located at the intersection of Medusa and Trail and admission to this event is free.

Geddes will be reading from two books at the reading; Falsework, his latest work written about the Second Narrows Bridge disaster as well as work from the book entitled The Kingdom of Ten Thousand Things: An Impossible Journey from Kabul to Chiapas.
The poetry and writing of Gary Geddes has been described as Canada's best political poet and has recieved many awards in the past including he Award for Literary Excellence handed out by BC's Lieutenant Governor.
