If you are driving, you will need to take the ferry that leaves from Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal, just outside West Vancouver.

Getting on the ferry with your automobile is easy, simply follow the Upper Levels Highway, coming from West Vancouver. The Upper Levels Highway, also part of Trans Canada Highway 1 and Route 99, ends at Horseshoe Bay and turns into the Sea To Sky Highway 99, heading towards Whistler.
Follow the signs to take you to the Sunshine Coast – Langdale toll booth. If your planning to travel to the Sunshine Coast BC in the summer, it's wise to arrive as early as possible. You can always pay and take a stroll into Horseshoe Bay Village.
If you are walking on, then proceed to the ticket booth located directly in Horseshoe Bay Village across from the pier. Walking on the ferry to the Sunshine Coast is a little more forgiving, but we still recommend arriving as early as possible.
Enjoy the next 40 minutes with stunning views and before you know it the horn blows and it's time to leave.
The ferry costs are great as the fee is only paid one way.
Yes.
It's free to leave!
(You will never want to)
See you soon on the Sunshine Coast.
