Gibsons offers a more relaxing commute to Vancouver! Many Gibsons residents park a car in Horseshoe Bay for their commute to Vancouver and back, then travel by Ferry as a footer passenger. Gibson’s Landing is 4 km from Langdale's Ferry Terminal. The Ferry Ride from Horseshoe Bay Terminal to Langdale Ferry Terminal is 38 minutes - 18 nautical kilometres through gorgeous Howe Sound. Downtown Vancouver is 20 km from Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal via Hwy 1.

Enjoy Gibsons' vibrant historic harbour-side village featuring a waterfront park with regular summer outdoor performances and events, galleries, antique shops, boutiques and restaurants that draw visitors and residents year-round. A planned harbour expansion will include enhanced moorage, harbour-side hotel.
